App: A Word Away

Your privacy matters. A Word Away is designed to work entirely on your device. This policy explains what information the app does and does not handle.
We do not collect any personal information. A Word Away does not require an account, does not ask for your name, email, or contact details, and does not include analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies of any kind.
Any content you create in the app — such as custom decks, words, team names, and game settings — is stored locally on your device only. We do not have access to it, and it is never transmitted to us or to any third party. If you delete the app, this data is removed with it.
A Word Away does not send your data over the internet. The app itself makes no network requests. The only exception is purchasing, which is handled entirely by Apple (see below).
A Word Away offers an optional one-time in-app purchase to unlock premium features. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment information. Apple's handling of purchase data is governed by Apple's own privacy policy.
One game mode uses your device's motion sensors (tilt) to detect gameplay gestures. This motion data is processed in real time on your device and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted.
A Word Away is family-friendly and does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
